. abc7 news reporter lilian kim joins us live from hercules with the latest. lilian? >> ama, we are in front of the home, and it is still cordoned off. there is a memorial in front of the property that has grown considerably since susie's death. they have been on the phones and on the internet virtually nonstop. following up on leads and doing everything they can to spread the word about their mother's murder. >> like i said earlier, you can't just have your mom go so suddenly and not doing anything about it. you have to fight. >> 55-year-old susie co was found dead in her home on friday night. her family says she was stabbed. the neighbor disyou ever cked co's body after getting word she never showed up at the airport to pick up her husband. her children suspect the person or people responsible entered the house through an unlocked sliding door knowing full well she was often home alone. her husband works full time in idaho. >> my mom was living there by herself for quite some time. everyone who happened to pass by might have brought someone with them who was keen on these obs

saturday for you coming up. >>> new this morning, hercules police looking for whoever killed a woman inside her own home. police say the victim's husband called a neighbor to check on his wife afternoon 11 last night, his wife was supposed to pick him up at the oakland airport, but never showed up. the woman was found dead in front of the home, and police say the family car is missing. it's described as a 2011 sky blue subaru out back with idaho plate, the number is there on your screen. it's 1a 1 f 680. anyone with any information is being asked to call the police. >>> overnight news, a series of accidents in fremont left a woman dead and 8 hurt. it happened around 1:00 a.m. the 49-year-old woman was in an accident, and hit the center divide. moments later, a drunk driver slammed into her car. he was not hurt, but the woman did die at the scene, two other cars were involved, and eight people in those cars went to the hospital with minor injuries. authorities say the alleged drunk driver is under arrest. >>> one person was killed and four others injured in a series of shootings in oakland.
